The people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.
Daniel 11:32b
Biblical citizenship? Is that even a thing?
We’re so glad you asked. The Bible does talk about citizenship. A lot.
Dive into this 6-lesson curriculum, designed for use in small groups and church or large group settings. Lessons lay a historical foundation of Canada’s Christian roots and trace the developments through history that find us where we are today. They also lead participants in developing a Biblical foundation for righteous citizenship and facilitate the development of a plan for civic engagement.
What will we study?
Over the course of 6 lessons, we’ll study essential content that will arm you to understand our shared Christian history, recognize what the Bible says about our responsibilities as citizens of our nation, and formulate a plan for becoming more engaged in civic life.
Here’s an outline of our sessions:

Who designed this curriculum?
The curriculum was designed by an educator who gathered resources from various sources. We are especially thankful to Worldview Endeavour, ARPA Canada, Dr. Michael Wagner, and Christian Roots Canada for their valuable resources. The curriculum is designed to be interdenominational.
Who leads it?
You can!
Never led a group or study like this before? No problem!
Everything is scripted for you, with full presentations in PowerPoint or Keynote format, including embedded video, handouts, and ice breaker activities, even the opening prayers—everything you need to host a small or large group to learn more about civic engagement for the Canadian Christian.
How much does it cost?
Our goal is to see Canadian Christians
- more versed in their heritage,
- more aware of the current state of their country, and
- more actively engaged in creating good government.
This curriculum has been produced as a labour of love—love for God, love for our country, and love for our fellow Canadians. As a result, the curriculum is free in exchange for your name and email (so we can get in touch with future updates). For further information, check our privacy policy.
We do ask that you would consider a donation to our effort to help us to cover costs, such as website hosting, and resource and stock photography purchases. The suggested donation is $50 for all six lessons, and can be made by PayPal or e-transfer (available from Canadian banks only). However, the lessons are available for download, whether you choose to make a donation or not. Please note that we cannot issue tax receipts for your donation at this time.
